The Beauty and the Beast....

While picking our beautiful berries🍒 every morning and evening, we have a new chore, picking the Japanese beetles off the raspberries leaves.

They have arrived in vengeance.

They are not active in the early morning , it makes it easier to catch them and make them take a swim.

All of our produce is always grown organically, we do not spray, even though that would be easier and quicker, but then we are killing our bees and other pollinators, and most importantly, the berries we pick for you are clean!

Besides, it is very satisfying to dump them in the water.😉

Enjoying a bee 🐝 utiful quiet morning.

Love the cooler temps and low humidity

Bees and Bumblebees are enjoying our Milkweed and Bachelors Button.

Reflecting about our market day yesterday. Grateful to all that came to meet Lisa Kelchner and make Roller Balls.

I hope the 2 little girls slept good last night; they needed roller balls for exhaustion...ha.. we were surprised but better they slept good 😉
