We have chicks! They are currently a week old since the winter weather has prohibited us from getting out much. We have 24 available (6 are Ayam Cemani and the remaining 18 are rainbow eggers). Pm for info! Local pickup in Watkinsville. Here are 4 that went to their new home already!

With this winter storm rolling in we wanted to remind everyone to have water on hand for themselves and their animals. It’s also a good reminder that chickens are really good at insulating their own bodies and as long as they have a dry and draft free place to roost and sleep that this storm shouldn’t be too much of a problem for them. Who’s ready for hatching eggs!? We have our winter rainbow eggs ready for your incubators!

These eggs are covered by olive egger, Fibro egger, an ameraucana roosters and could give chicks with a Fibro gene and could lay anything from white to moss and every color in between along with speckles or heavy blooms.

We also have Ayam Cemani eggs available in 6 counts. Pm us to get some eggs to hatch!

We have some chicks available for local pickup in Watkinsville, Ga!

1 Calico Cochin and 2 Cochin X polkie mixes (6 weeks old)
5 Ayam Cemanis (a few days old)

Our incubator is also full with our winter eggs (everyone from our rainbow egger line has been free ranging with each other so egg colors could be white and cream to blue and green to speckled or brown)

Happy New Year!! 2026 is here and we are ready to look back at our 2025 breeding season and look forward to what is coming next!

We will of course be breeding our Rainbow Eggers and Ayam Cemanis again. We also plan to keep the Bantam Calico Cochin group together although they will be in smaller quantities.

I have a few tester groups I am looking forward to starting with the goal of expanding our egg and flock colors but more on that later in the season.

For our 2026 breeding lineup we plan to expand our Ameraucanas specifically the Splashes but also the Whites and we hope to create some more Fibro eggers along the way to boost our F2 Fibro coop.

Let’s ring in the new year by sharing some photos of your birds this past year and hope for many more in 2026!

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃!

Don’t forget to give your chickens any safe leftovers that you won’t be eating like:

The turkey carcass
Green beans
Peas
Carrots
Corn
Mashed potatoes
Pumpkin pie
Cranberry sauce
And more!

Remember that it is recommended to limit salty and sugary foods but for one day it won’t hurt! Ours enjoy the whole meal!!
