A big thank you to Alexis for supporting my program! This little Hampshire gilt’s dam was the WTC reserve grand Champion Hampshire breeding Gilt (Dotson Hamps), and her sire is Indian Feather (at Shaffers Gold Rush), who was the 2025 grand Champion Hampshire Boar.

DON’T CUT THOSE BOAR PROSPECTS!!!

I received call from the NSR this morning advising me that there WILL be a live boar show in Perry this January ! The Sires of the South online sale will occur to showcase as well for those who are not up to making the trip or do not wish to compete in a live format.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who reached out to me and to the NSR expressing an interest in reinstating the southeast’s boar competition. It should also be noted that the NSR deserves acknowledgment for listening to its members and reversing the decision to cancel this event… let’s not have them regret their decision!
As many of us in the south farrow in June, July and August, I realize most folks may have castrated their prospects at this point - but I encourage everyone to bring their boars this January to the WTC to stand in solidarity with the southeast.
