Morning Ranch Livestock and Pets Mike and Ali Roth raise and train American Quarter Horses. Our horses make great partners for work and play.

Our goal is to create horses that have great conformation, athletic ability, intelligence and some color too. The most important goal of our program is to get horses that have personalities that are really easy to get along with and to find owners that are the right fit for each one. Our clients come from the professional to the hobbyist and we hope to make great friends along the way!

Okay, I have posted everything in our inventory that is available at this time. Please scroll through them all before you ask what else we have. It is all here. On everything except the weanlings, I have put a link to their pedigrees in the comments of each individual post. Prices are going to be from $5000-$8500 depending on which one you fancy. We are always happy to answer any questions that you may have once you have looked over what is posted. THANK YOU so much for your interest. We have been doing this for more than 30 years and are extremely grateful for all the folks we have met along the way that are as passionate about good horses as we are. We hope to help you if we can find the right fit for you. Nava is a 2018 chestnut gone gray mare by Reno out of CeeDee. That means she has Playgun both top and bottom. She was sold and long story short, the new owner had health issues and we still have her. We plan to retain her or her full sister Shirley, so once one finds a new pasture, the other will stay here. Nava spent three months with a trainer to be halter broken and ground work. She can be handled well enough for AI or can be pasture bred. You can lead or drive her into a trailer. She is not a huge fan of being around people, she tolerates handling, but is great in the pasture with other mares. She is not at the bottom or top of the pecking order. She is even more gorgeous in person than I have been able to capture on camera. She should be a solid producer in any program.

Ella is a 2016 chestnut gone gray mare by Reno out of Waco that we currently have in our broodmare band. We are only offering her for a short time. Her full sister Idabel is also available right now. We have been asked for broodmares quite a bit lately so we are posting the ones that we might let go to the right homes. We will happily retain either mare and once one of them goes, the other will stay since Waco served us well, and has passed of old age. The filly in the pictures is her 2025 black going gray filly LuLu who is also available. Her information is posted earlier on this feed.

Becky is a 2020 black gone gray mare by Reno out of Dos. We no longer have Dos so we are in no hurry to get rid of this mare. Her older sister is already in our broodmare band. We are making Becky available for a short time and then she will no longer be available. She is young enough to start, but we know this line excels in our broodmare pasture.

Shirley is a chestnut gone gray 2020 mare by Reno out of CeeDee. We have an older sister, Nava, in our broodmare band now. Shirley tore open several of the muscle bellies on her front right forearm. We took her to the vet assuming she would need to be put down, but our vet is amazing and we worked with her for months to doctor on this mare. She has healed far better than we could ever have imagined so we are making her available at this point. We will keep either her or Nava to replace their dam in our band. We are unsure if she is sound enough to be trained to ride. She will always have that scar on her leg, but she moves and carries herself with zero issues.

Idabel is a 2020 chestnut gone gray mare that we have kept back as a broodmare prospect. She is by Reno out of Waco. We have another full sibling already in our broodmare band. We will keep one and sell the other or keep them both as this line have all been great producers. This mare is very feminine and still has great bone. She is still young enough to start if you prefer to ride her. She has a willing, curious and kind disposition to match her beautiful conformation. Her siblings have been very natural on cattle and all are very athletic.

Dottie is a 2020 grullo gone gray mare that we have retained as a broodmare prospect. She is by Reno out of Navie. We are not in a hurry to sell her as we plan to let her replace her dam someday in our broodmare band. We do have a younger, full sibling so we will offer her briefly and keep whichever one doesn't sell first. She has not been trained at this point but she is very friendly and could still be ridden if that is the way you prefer to go.

Tilly is a 2022 chestnut gone gray mare by Reno out of Classy. We lost Classy to colic after a tragic wandering dog incident and this is the only foal we have out of her. This is one of our favorite lines in our program. She is priced accordingly. We plan to ride her and then use her in our broodmare band to continue her dam's legacy. We will offer her to the public for a short time and then she will no longer be available.

Secret is a sorrel rabicano mare by Reno out of Queen. This line has made a lot of very nice roping and performance horses. She is a solid built, intelligent and willing partner. She has been haltered and saddled and will make a calm and confident partner once she gets the wet saddle blankets she needs. Her siblings have all had grit and heart and are solid business partners for any work or adventure.
