🥦 The first cut deserves a little spotlight!

Meet A&A Organic Farms’ Organic Broccolini Tops—the central heads harvested first from our broccolini plants! 🌱

Wondering why they look different from the long, slender broccolini you know? These tops grow at the center of the plant. Harvesting them encourages the plant to develop the side shoots that become those familiar long stems and smaller florets.

That means these beautiful tops are both a delicious harvest of their own AND an important step toward the next round of broccolini! 💚

Bring them into your kitchen:

Fair Trade Month is almost here 🌱

As we head into the month ahead, we’re taking a closer look at what Fair Trade means here at A&A Organic Farms and the impact it can have beyond the products we see on the shelf.

Fair Trade helps support workers and farming communities through safer working conditions and community-led funding for things like education, healthcare, clean water, and housing.

One of the most meaningful parts? Workers help decide how those funds are used in their own communities.

This Thursday, we’ll be sharing more about the history of Fair Trade, how the Fair Trade Premium works, and why it continues to matter in agriculture today.

As October gets closer, we’re getting excited for the next wave of seasonal organic produce at A&A Organic Farms.

Coming soon from our California fields:
