Updates
We are working on building our own custom bbq this week.
And we finally have gutters put up on the house!
Wow what a difference it makes.
Shout out to Yoder Bros Seamless gutters. I highly recommend them!
We are also berry picking this month.
Black raspberries and mulberries!! Mmmmm
We were able to manage a few minor repairs while some of us were sick. We didn't even go grocery shopping last week. So grateful for a deep pantry to get us through!
I so enjoy this farm life.

Time flies when you're not looking at the time.
OUR UPDATES
We have new ducks on the farm
We put in a tractor port.
We are clearing a road way for the tractor.
We are ALWAYS making repairs...oh my.
We will be installing a vent for our pantry room that does not like to stay cool in our Oklahoma heat.
We finished installing critter fencing around the perimeter of the garden. Eek. One step closer to a harvest
Well that feels better. See, if I just list things off I can see we are actually getting things accomplished.
God bless!

FRIDAYS FARM MODIFICATION FACEBOOK POST UPDATES

Well we survived. It was a hard week. Sometimes stress and pressure are overwhelming. But God is STILL good. He knows.
We have good neighbors and I'm thankful for their help.
So, what has changed at Joyful Seeds? We have prepped the orchard for digging holes this fall! VERY exciting.
We are putting up critter fencing around the produce garden perimeter.
We built a rain water run off and it worked! We no longer get standing water in pasture #2!
Again, we are all VERY excited to see success.
Because of the new nesting boxes, our LGDs are no longer eating up the eggs!
SUCCESS! YAY!
We are so thankful to be together, working together, and loving each others company. God is so rich in His gifts!
I really need to get better at updating with pictures! :)

We have eggs!
We raise our chickens to free range on 13 acres of organic grass pasture. We use corn free, soy free supplemental feed.
Our chicken eggs taste amazing! Dark rich orange yolks! Rich in nutrients. Their diet mainly consists of plants and bugs, the way God intended.
$7 a dozen

We also have firewood!

We also have round bales of unsprayed hay!

And let us help you with your local IT needs. Phones, printers, cameras, computers and more....

HAPPY Easter everyone!
The last 3 puppies that were born on Christmas Day were sold today on Easter Sunday at our adoption event at Springdales Tractor Supply!!
Thank you to Tractor Suppy and everyone who adopted one of our Livestock Guardian Dogs and for supporting our family's farm! We are so grateful.

Friday's Farm Modification page Post :)

So.. we were blessed with our much needed rain.
Because of this, certain areas of the farm chose what we did this past week. Namely, Farm Road's trench and the hay barn/puppy pasture barriers. They are at the bottom of our farm and we have quite the incline and even another large incline on the farm next to us.
We get quite a bit of run off and flooding with a heavy rain. But our pond looks great! Its a joy to see a blue heron perched there!
It is truly a blessing to be down low in a valley surrounded by two ridges because of OKs tornadoes.
We are almost done with our new nesting boxes inside the coop. We already have hens laying eggs in them! I think I heard a hen say, "Finally."
Sorry ladies. It's only been 16mos.
Hopefully the LGDs will stop eating the eggs now. đŸ˜€
Our next steps are the orchards planting and inner garden designing. Oh what fun!
And there are always those unexpected projects that like to rear their ugly head. Like... the dishwasher deciding its nearing it's last load.
LASTLY, we were excited to move forward on a new to us tractor and purchasing the pig scale for butchering.
We are all loving the farm ride!

God bless.

We are out in Springdale at Tractor Supply Company today until dark!
Come out and see us if you are near by!

This week's farm projects... we worked on sprucing up the puppy pasture gate entrance, pig paddock clean up, and finished the last two coop windows for some good and healthy air flow in there.
We pulled up quite a bit of past owner trash dumping. This I will never understand. But wow does it look great now. We are also working on correcting some drive way issues. We continue to make the play yard nice and pretty as we use this daily.
The weather has been great. But with many Oklahoma fires, we welcome the rain this coming week.
Stop by and say hello.
We have 6 pups left. One boy, five girls!
We have firewood for sale.
Organic chive bundles.
Organic black walnuts still in the shell to be processed.
And round hay bales.
Let us know how we can help.
We are always here to help with any IT related needs as well.
Finally, we always have FREE SEEDS of Faith. LSB Bibles for the taking.
God Bless and give God ALL the glory!

Good afternoon!
We are busy inside today. Making a roast for dinner. Doing up dishes and tying up loose ends. And some Saturday school.
Hark sold at today's adoption event at Tractor Supply in Springdale. That means we only have one male GP pup left.
This week...
We were blessed with TWO free mulch loads dumped on our farm this week. Our garden will thank us later. :)
Four new bee hives arrived and are awaiting assembly and set-up! Yay!
We finished the much needed poultry roost extension. We are beginning the outdoor BBQ and the last 2 coop windows.
We finished the clean up of the newly built pig paddocks. And have a few projects wanting some attention. The garden and orchard trees among others. We are super excited and so blessed!
God bless farm followers!
