Impact:
Amber owns an event business, but due to treatment limitations she can no longer help at events, thus she had to hire two employees to keep the business running. The cost of paying more employees and covering monthly rent for the venue space was taking a toll.
Thanks to Raul's Fund, we were able to offer her assistance while she underwent treatment.
Paul owns a tracker repair shop.
Due to side effects of radiation, Paul had to reduce his hours by 50 percent.
Thus, the payroll increased as he had to pay employees extra hours and continue to pay monthly bills for utilities and water.
Thanks to Raul's Fund, we were able to provide a little relief to help cover these expenses while Paul continued his treatments.
Liz works on her family farm, but due to her treatments they hired additional help to keep the farm running which put strain on the farm's finances.
They requested assistance to stay current on a bill for their hay mower, while they shifted funds toward payroll for the extra staff.
Thanks to Raul's Fund, we were able to help pay for the hay mower.
Dawn was diagnosed with stage IV re**al cancer while she was working as a hairdresser.
She was unable to work after starting chemotherapy.
She hopes to get back to work but struggled paying the chair rental fee while she was out of work.
Thanks to Raul's Fund, we paid for three months of chair rental fees so she can return to work after her treatments are complete.
