The cemetery series continues. This is the Kawaii Noctis
Raven, perched at the base of a tall stone urn beneath the
trees. Ravens have been keeping watch over graveyards in
stories for centuries, so she looked right at home.
She did not say "nevermore." She was tempted. 🖤💀

Today is National Coming Out Day.

Vincent, our Gothic Opossum and Gothic colorway advocate, is
bisexual. He has always found whoever interesting, regardless,
and he's never felt the need to explain himself. He never will.

Whether you're coming out today, not ready yet, or never had
to announce anything at all: you're welcome here. She carries
everyone. 🖤🌈

Today's the new moon, the darkest night of the month and
traditionally a time for setting intentions and starting over.

The Gothic Winking Owl seemed like the right company: one
eye open, the other one couldn't be bothered, and she knows
exactly what you did.

What's one thing you're letting go of this month? Tell her. She
won't tell anyone. 🖤🦉🌑

The Kawaii CyberBunny is what happens when a bunny
passes on and gets wired back up anyway. Soft pink,
X-stitched eyes, and embroidered ribs worn right on the
outside.

She's cute. She's technically deceased. She has opinions
about both. 🖤🪦

One of my favorite stones from the cemetery trip: a headstone
carved like an open book. It felt made for the Dark Academia
colorway, all deep teal, burgundy and gold, old library and
candlelight.

The Dark Academia Voodoo Bunny went to the library and
never came back the same. Now she's found a book she'll
never finish. She's reading it anyway. 🐇📖

A question I get a lot: how long does one of these take? The
honest answer is about an hour per piece: embroidery, cutting,
turning, stuffing, finishing.

Everything is made to order, so nothing gets overproduced and
nothing ends up in a landfill because it didn't sell. When you
order, a real person makes yours. Today's focus is the Demon
Voodoo Bunny, summoned.

If you're eyeing something for Halloween, now's a good time. 🐇😈

Found this puffball growing in the grass during my cemetery
photoshoot and, obviously, the Kawaii Magic Earth Mushroom
had to sit on it.

She's one of the most affordable pieces in the shop: a
wide-brimmed mushroom cap with a tiny face tucked
underneath. Staring. Not moving. Fine, actually. 🖤🍄

Small confession: Etsy tells me when people have a piece in
their cart, and right now the Gothic Voodoo Cat is sitting in
some of them. She's aware. She's not upset. She's just
counting.

She's one of my favorites to make: the long dramatic tail, the
mismatched eyes, the stitched-up heart. Everything is made to
order, so if she's been waiting in your cart, she'll be made just
for you. 🖤🐈

Meet Vincent. If you're new here, he's the Gothic Opossum and
the advocate for our Gothic colorway. He has seen the world.
He was unimpressed.

I asked him how he feels about spooky season. His answer, in
full, was "fine." Opossums play dead for a living, so honestly,
October might be the one month he's in his element. 🖤🪦

I spent an afternoon at a local cemetery with some of the
collection, and you'll see those photos throughout October.

This one stopped me. The carving above him reads "Nearer,
My God, to Thee", a hymn someone chose for someone they
loved, a very long time ago.
Vincent, the Vampire colorway ambassador, sat beneath it, solemn.

He is older than the stars. He still feels sympathy. 🖤
