Black huacaya alpacas are our goal and we strive to develop a line with fleece characteristics with 20 micron and 10 pound shearing weights. We utilize measurable information such as histograms and personal assessment along with an internal Expected Progeny Difference (EPD) to Evaluate to Excellence - a method we developed to help assess, select, and make purchase and breeding decisions.
