Thanks to our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, auction supporters, partners, and friends, the 14th Annual Fisher House Wisconsin Golf Outing raised over $396,000 in total community support for Wisconsin’s military and veteran families!

Every dollar helps us continue supporting families staying at the Milwaukee VA Fisher House while moving closer to an extraordinary goal — building the Madison VA Fisher House and bringing a “home away from home” to families receiving care in south-central Wisconsin.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day came when the Hidalgo family presented an extraordinary $150,000 gift from the 1Lt Daren M. Hidalgo Memorial Foundation in support of the Madison VA Fisher House. Carmen Hidalgo shared the story of her late brother, 1Lt Daren M. Hidalgo, and how their family continues to honor his life and service through the Foundation created in his memory.

To the entire Hidalgo family: thank you for entrusting Fisher House Wisconsin with a part of Daren’s legacy. His memory will continue making a difference for military and veteran families for generations to come. ❤️
