At the end of day 7, 88 ewes have lambed. To say we have been busy is an understatement! Lambing average is at roughly 1.6 which we are happy with, only 3 lambs have been pulled off mothers to be bottle fed. This will be a nice tight uniform group for us to sell. It is a team effort for sure!

A surprise this morning with our 2nd set of quads this year, while 2 of these lambs will have to be pulled off the ewe and supplemented it’s still impressive to see mothers do this and get them all up and going. Owen also wanted to show everyone his new barn cat!

These 35-45lb lambs were born at the end of January/beginning of February, meaning there gaining well over a pound of body weight a day. Starting these lambs on creep so young plays a huge factor in there growth
