Welcome back, friends, to our Won't You Be Our Neighbor series!

Today we are ABSOLUTELY elated to feature the newest kids on the block (literally!) April and Maes on Main Street. Their storefront adds a lovely kick of color to North Main, and we cannot WAIT to see how they grow and evolve.

🌟How long has your business been on Main Street?

April & Mae's has been open since April 18 2026.

🌟How has your business grown in that short time?

We have been blown away by the response we have received from the community during our first month open. We have booked multiple birthday parties in our party room as well placing many replenishment orders of items that have sold out! Our custom hat & charm bar have been a hit and we have customers everyday coming in to design their own hat or bracelet.

🌟What is your favorite Main Street Memory?

We love how connected and supportive all the shop owners on Main St have been. We are all passionate about our own shops but also want each other to be successful because then everyone will thrive.

🌟What is one thing you wish people knew about what you have to offer?

We offer so many things! From unique kids clothing that you won't find anywhere around Waupaca to fun accessories and toys and our custom hat & charm bar. And don't forget our amazing party room where we can throw epic parties. We are more than just a retail store, we are an experience that the whole family will love.

🌞 Products of the Week🌞

Summer's here and so are bumps and bruises! 🤕 Whether on the playground, the baseball diamond or down by the river, injuries happen and we have your clean, nature based first aid covered!

🍞 Product of the Week🍞

If you've been following us for a while, or stop by the store, you know that we carry Ariston olive oil and Balsamic vinegar.

Well, did you know that we also carry Apple, Fig and Lemon and Candied Ginger Jams?

Made it Italy from clean ingredients, you can use these on anything!

Baking, cooking or just slathering some on a crusty piece of bread as part of breakfast, you really can't go wrong.

We're mixing things up this week, and featuring something a bit closer to home, plants grown in our own Kim's nursery!

This week we're have Genovese Basil, marshmallow plant, ashwaganda and motherwort.

$5.00 for the larger pots
$4.00 for the smaller pots

Starting next week, we will include the available plants with the weekly produce board update, and will continue this throughout the growing season!

The trees are turning green, and the grass is growing. SPRING!

FINALLY!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

However, with spring comes pollen, and with pollen comes ALLERGIES. Sneezing, stuffy or runny nose, watery eyes... allergies are NOT fun.

We really like these options from our and section.

In this post, we feature-

Mullein- historically known for supporting respiratory health, soothing coughs and reducing inflammation.

Linden Flower- soothes irritated throat membrane and reduce coughs

Stinging nettle- reduces allergy symptoms like sneezing, itching, and congestion

Marshmallow Root- loosen mucus, inhibit bacteria and soothe sore throats.

We also sell reusable tea bags, and various type of strainers. 🫖🫖🫖
