In order to save money and lessen pre packaged snacks in our house; I make a batch of muffins each week for school snack/lunches or after school snacks. This week’s flavor is cranberry orange, found a bag of cranberries while cleaning the freezer.

This past weekend I made the kids a special Valentine’s Day breakfast; donut holes fried in lard! Seriously the best donuts ever!

About two years ago we stopped used all seed oils in our house; we cook with butter, lard, and tallow!
