To all of our sweet friends and supporters, we have arrived at a time when we have to make an impossibly difficult and gut-wrenching decision. With heavy hearts, we must let you know that it is time to close the doors at Whitewater.
Words fall woefully short in conveying all the nuances of the journey of operating our little dream space for these past six years. We could never have known at the outset how so many gems of people from our little community would wind their way into our hearts...nor could we fathom the incredibly rich and diverse moments we would experience while being lucky shepherds to so many of your lives' important events.
So much REAL life and togetherness was shared across our little silver maple bar and in front of our stages. The years brimmed with countless profound and life-changing gatherings and performances, laughter and tears, new friends and collaborations, awe and inspiration. And, the colossal TALENT we have witnessed unfold before our eyes has absolutely blown our minds forever.
Many of you personally put your amazing selves out there and WORKED SO HARD right alongside us to help make Whitewater the beautiful and fun space that it has become. Your unfaltering presence, solidarity, optimism, and energy have carried us through all the triumphs and failures. Those who faithfully showed up in support all these years have filled our hearts with the deepest love and humble gratitude. We adore our little Whitewater family with every fiber of our being, and we will cherish our memories here with y'all to the end of our days. We are now so fortunate to count many of you among our lifelong friends.
