Happy Friday everyone! Tomorrow is the last day of the Iron Mountain Farmers Market. We will be bringing some fresh veggies! We will have kale, swiss chard, lettuce, carrots, beets, garlic, onions, pie pumpkin, cucumbers, serrano peppers, bell peppers, and tomatoes. We will have less produce this week due to the cold weather so come early before we sell out.

We will be at the farmers market tomorrow. We will have lettuce and pie pumpkins! We will also have strawberries, kale, swiss chard, carrots, beets, onions, garlic, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, bell peppers, Serrano peppers, cherry tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, and mint. Some garden fresh veggie stir fry; walla walla onion, garlic, zucchini, pattypan squash, and red bell pepper add some salt, pepper, olive oil and cook until tender. We will be having as a side with our pork chops but add some Italian sausage to this and it could be a complete meal.

It’s going to be a busy weekend in Downtown Iron Mountain! Italian Fest is on Saturday, August 10 from noon to 11pm, starting immediately after the Farmers & Artisans Market (FAM), which happens from 8:00 am to noon. The space occupied by Italian Fest will change the configuration of the FAM, but there’s still plenty of space for all of our usual vendors. It will look just a little bit different but will be the same great variety and ambiance!

Also, there’s still plenty of parking Downtown, especially in the large parking lot just west of Stephenson Ave. with entrance on A Street. It’s only a block from the FAM with a signaled crosswalk on the way there. Please see downtownironmountain.com/parking for a detailed map.
