A busy, but fun weekend spent at the Tri-State Dairy Goat Association show! We decided to leave the juniors home for the 2nd day, so we could relax a bit. It was a great show put on by a great club!

All of the does placed well. Xantus was selected as GCH both days over 29 senior does and should now be a permanent champion! 🏆 Intermediate kid, Tawny, was RGCH Recorded Grade.

**Updated pictures of the red buck kid taken 6/9 have been added**

Our kidding season finally finished up a week ago today. These are the last kids that will be looking for a new bottle this year. Pictures of both buck kids(taken on 6/2), their dams and their sire's dam's udder in post. Both are trained to a lambar. Since they are late May born kids, they are half of what of they would normally be. Please private message us with any inquiries.

With the extra kids moved out now, we have a couple of milking does looking to find new herds of their own.

1. Two year old Nubian doe suitable as a family milker. She is not show quality. Currently milking just over 1/2 gallon per day. Last milk test weight was 5.1lbs on 5/16. Good milk stand manners and a dream to hand milk. CAE tested negative last fall. G6S normal by parentage.

2. Two year old Lamancha doe, State Line Bliss. She's only been out to one show as a milker where she placed 2nd. Decent milk stand manners. I hobble her to milk, because she likes to let one back leg "float" and it just reminds her that she has to stand still. She behaves just fine with the hobbles on. She milks about a gallon a day. Her last milk test weight on 5/16 was 8.2lbs. Tested CAE negative last fall.

We took a small string to the Best in the Northwest open show today. Just two does. 😄

State Line Xantus was 1st place four year old Nubian and then was RGCH. Xantus is on a milk through from March 2025.
State Line Bliss was 2nd place two year old Lamancha.

American Nubian doe kid born 3/14/26. Her dam is a very promising first freshener and is a double granddaughter of Tide Land Pl***oy Zane. Her dam is pictured with 10 hours of milk. Her sire is a Woest-Hoeve TS Thunderbird son. She walks with good width between the hocks and up into her escutcheon. Fancy udder potential with this one
