🐝 What a season it's been for Bees and Trees Apiary! 🍯

Looking back at where we started this spring and seeing where we are today is nothing short of incredible.

Our main apiary has been buzzing with healthy, hardworking colonies, and the honey supers have been filling up faster than we could have hoped.

Even more exciting has been watching our bees thrive at Viking C**k Mead Hall, where visitors can actually see the hives from the deck and now enjoy honey harvested from those very bees.

After rebuilding and growing, this season has been a rewarding reminder of why we love beekeeping. None of it would be possible without healthy bees, supportive friends, and all of you who continue to encourage and support our small family apiary.

Thank you for following along on this journey. We can't wait to share this year's honey with you—straight from our hives to your table.

🍯 Stay tuned... the best is still to come

🐝🍯 Exciting News from Bees and Trees Apiary & Viking C**k Mead ! 🍯🐝

Back in the winter, we hinted that something new and exciting was happening.

Many of you guessed it and some even noticed the hives on the property, and now it's time to enjoy the rewards.

What's even more special?, you can now purchase and take home the honey that was produced by the very bees you can watch hard at work from the Mead Hall deck.

This partnership brings together two passions:

Exceptional Honey and Handcrafted Mead

Whether you're stopping in for a drink, picking up a jar of honey, or simply enjoying the view, we hope you'll experience the connection between the bees, the land, and the Mead Hall.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Bees and Trees Apiary and Viking C**k Meadery. We can't wait to share this sweet new chapter with you!

Sometimes the bees remind you who's really in charge.

During this week's hive inspections at our Viking C**k Apiary we were greeted with one of the best surprises a beekeeper can ask for—full honey supers! 🍯🐝

What's even more exciting is that every one of these colonies started as a brand new hives this spring, seeing them build up this quickly and reward us with full supers is a testament to just how hard these girls have worked.

After all the time and effort that goes into caring for them, moments like this make it all worthwhile.

Honey harvest is just around the corner, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you.

Stay tuned... the girls have been busy! 🐝💛

Well... there went the Saturday morning plans. 🐝

Got the call for a swarm, and you know we couldn't say no.

After a little patience and a quick shake into a box, these girls decided that Bees and Trees was going to be their new home at the Viking C**k Mead Hall

There's something special about catching a swarm, watching thousands of bees work together and then seeing them settle into a fresh hive never gets old.

Another colony saved, another hive added to the apiary.

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning.

🐝 Happy World Bee Day from Bees and Trees Apiary 🍯
What started in 2022 as one small 4-frame nuc and a single bee box has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. Early mornings, late nights, hard lessons, winter losses, strong comebacks, and countless moments standing beside the hives watching thousands of tiny workers do what they were created to do.
Bees are more than honey producers. They’re pollinators, providers, builders, and a reminder that even the smallest things can have the biggest impact.
Today we celebrate the bees, the beekeepers, the farmers, the growers, and everyone who supports local honey and local agriculture. Every jar tells a story — of flowers visited, seasons survived, and a family passion that continues to grow one hive at a time.
From our family to yours, thank you for supporting Bees and Trees Apiary and helping us keep the buzz alive. 🐝🌻🍯
