Technology has not been my friend lately. I’ve tried posting this many times already.
The fourth and final week of camp is complete. They had fun learning what it takes to get ready for shows.

So I completely forgot to post last week’s camp pictures 🤦♀️ So now that this week is just about over here are pictures from last week, the third week of camp.
Week one of summer camp is done. The kids had lots of fun.
Happy Mother’s Day !
The first of the baby goats, for this year, were born yesterday. The mom is Flower. She had just had them, when we were doing afternoon chores, so I didn’t want to go in the shed and bother her. Therefore, I didn’t get a good look at them to know what genders they are.
I haven’t posted in a while , so I decided that this would be a good start. 😂
I’m sure there are several of you that agree.

Queen and Jasmine update:
The doctor did an ultrasound on both. They are both not pregnant even though they both had all signs of being pregnant and even being in labor. He says that they both had false pregnancies. But the good news is that both mares are ok and can be bred again whenever we decide to breed them.
As some of you know, Queen and Jasmine are in foal and are 3 weeks over the 12 month mark. With the use of Mike Cole’s trailer, we are on our way to the U of I to help these girls out. Wish us luck.
Hard to believe but this little miss is already a month old!
Welcome to the world, Emilia Ann Wohlers. Born Thursday November 19th at 4:38pm. Weighing 6 pounds 10 1/2 ounces and 20 inches long.
Little miss decided to not wait for her scheduled c-section. She decided that she was going to take control and come yesterday.
The three of us are doing good and can’t wait to get home to let big brother, Colton meet his new little sis.
Lessons will be cancelled until further notice. We are scheduled for a c section on Friday. In preparation of the surgery, we are required to self quarantine until then. Sorry for any inconvenience. Little baby Wohlers will be here Friday. If all goes well we will bring her home on Monday.
All the shirts are in! If you ordered one, please come out and pick it up. 😁
Puppy update: they’re getting big. They are starting to try to walk instead of crawl and some of their eyes are starting to open.
Noel had her pups on Friday, August 7th around 4:30am. She had 7 black pups and 1 yellow. The runt of the litter was black with white on her belly and toes but unfortunately she passed away at 11:30pm Saturday, August 8th. The others are doing well. So is Noel. 😁 She is being a wonderful mom. The pups will be ready to go to their forever homes September 18th. We are selling them for $400 each. There are 5 females and 2 males. The yellow is one of the males. Just as a reminder, they are not registered but are full labs. They also will have the first shots and dewormer when they are 6 weeks old.
Colton decided that the horses needed a “buffet” today after having to stay inside due to the rain.
COMING SOON....
Noel puppies. They will be pure blood black lab pups but not registered. If you know someone interested in buying a pup, please let us know.
I know everyone has been waiting patiently. Well, here you go.
If anyone is interested in a summer camp/COVID-19 shirt for this year, please let me know. They are $17 each.
Thought these were funny but a good idea.
Would you like these for your riders?
Happy Father’s Day! Hope everyone had a great day.
Josh and his dad baled hay today. Thank you AJ and Sawyer Henson and Cole Edie for helping with this process. While they did that, I body clipped Jasper the 24 year old welsh pony.
I am finally able to post something about re-opening. I have been given permission from the doctor and the Morgan County Health Department to re-open ,as long as I follow strict regulations.
*I will need to disinfect all surfaces and equipment after every lesson. To get all this done, the lessons will need to be spaced out. They will also need to start and finish on time.
*Everyone must wear gloves and masks while on the premises. The masks may be lowered or taken off when riding. But then put back on before dismounting.
*Everyone must wear long pants.
*As always everyone must wear closed toed shoes, preferably boots.
*Each family will be allowed to use ONE set of brushes. All the brushes will be disinfected at the end of each day. A new set of brushes will be out and ready for the next day, while the previous brushes are drying.
The lesson schedule is as followed:
Monday 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm
Thursday: 1pm, 3pm and 5pm
Saturday: 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm
Please message me to schedule your lesson. As we go, the schedule may change to allow more lessons or possibly less.
Anyone not willing to abide by the current regulations, will be asked to leave.
I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day. We had the best gift. We were able to share with our family and friends, something we have been keeping a secret for a while. We are expecting the newest co-owner of Wohlers Stables in November!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there.
Just want to say thank you to all the hard workers and health care providers having to work during this pandemic.
Flower had her twins on Sunday April 5th around 8 in the morning. The solid black is a boy and the black with a white spot on the forehead and one on the belly is a girl. That should be the last of the babies for this kidding season, unless one of the younger ones surprise us.
Unfortunately yesterday March 24th, we lost Daffodil’s baby boy. We think all the kids were cuddling trying to stay warm during the night and ended up smothering him. But with every death there is a new life. Violet had a baby boy yesterday afternoon.
On Sunday Iris had her twins. The one with the big white star in its head is a boy and the small star on the head is a girl.
On Saturday March 21 Daffodil had her twins. The one with the bold black spot on the back is a boy and the other is a girl.
Due to the mandatory quarantine ordered by the governor, there will be no lessons until further notice. We are considered as a non essential business, therefore we must close. As of now the quarantine goes through April 7th. Everyone stay healthy. Hope to see you in the near future.
As predicted Rosie had her kids yesterday. The tan and white is a girl and the black and white is a boy.
Rosebud had twins yesterday afternoon. The tan and white is a girl and the black and white is a boy
As we lost one of our own last Friday we gained a new baby to care for on Friday. Her name is Bell. Josh brought her home from TSC.
Meet the first kid of the season. Pansy had her baby boy on Tuesday March 17th.
If you or someone you have been around has been feeling under the weather, please kindly cancel and stay home. I have some clients that have poor immune systems and I don’t want to risk them getting sick. Hope everyone stays well.
Friday March 13th we said goodbye to our beloved Blackburn. Last week he went downhill fast. He had troubles standing and you could tell he was in a lot of pain. He was born April 30, 1991. He lived a long good life. He only had 3 owners who all loved him. He went completely blind the summer of 2014. He loved attention and loved kids grooming him. He was so much ride to ride and he was great for therapy. We will miss him greatly.
Santa also brought us the newest member of our farm. Meet Snowfkake.
Merry Christmas a couple days late. I wanted to share with everyone that Santa remembered to stop by the stables. And the treats he put in everyone’s stockings seem to be picky horse approved. 😁
We have Christmas gifts for everyone. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, please stop by a get it.

Here’s a video of Colton helping me move the goat. I picked up the goat and needed to move the gator, so that I could close the door to the spreader so Colton pulled it up for me. After that we took the goat into the barn, so that he won’t be picked on by all the other goats.
Here’s a video from me working with Turbo Tammy Pitchford and Virgle Pitchford’s horse in Friday. He’s coming along great. He backs weaving cones and starting to neck rein. He only crow hops sometimes at the canter, instead of full out rodeo bucking.
The last lesson of tonight was able to get Boomer to canter without bucking. Yeah! Even though she likes it when he bucks. She thinks it’s fun. Here’s video one of two.
Sorry it’s taken so long to get this posted. On Thursday our son, Colton and one of our students, AJ Henson were playing and built a jump. They left it up when they were done with it, saying they were leaving it up for Becca to jump it during her lesson. So at the end of the lesson, we had Becca and Maggie go over their jump. Keep in mind this was after we got done with a jump lesson outside in the sun. Becca was tired. This is video one of two.
