Update for the 2020 Season

We are so thankful the strawberries are growing beautifully. The cold spring and freeze we experienced early in May concerned us but the strawberries continue to grow and have tons of blooms which is a great sign. In recent years we have opened around the second week in June but because of the cold spring it could be later this year. I will continue to keep the Facebook updated.

I also wanted to give our followers an update on our name change. My husband and I have ran the strawberry patch since 2013 under the LeCount name. Recently we moved the strawberry patch to my husband’s family’s farm and this year we are changing the name to reflect the new location and ownership, Mast Strawberry Farm. We will have updated business cards this year with the name change.

We are currently closed for the season. We hope to begin the 2020 season sometime in June. Two to three days prior to opening we will change our status to let you know when our first official U-Pick day is. We are sorry that we cannot give a more specific date. It is hard for us to determine when the season is going to begin because it is different from year to year based upon the weather.

As a reminder our address is 9193 N. 125 W. Wawaka, IN 46794. We have U-Pick strawberries. Our U-Pick strawberries are $1.25/lb. We also sell ready picked strawberry flats. A flat consists of 10 pounds or 6 qts. We are also taking flat orders. If you would like to order a flat please call us and leave your name, number and number of flats you want.
