Positions available for the run of the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI!
We sell a large selection of varietal honey, flavored honey, bee products, and mead-making supplies. Our main goal is to provide an unforgettable experience not only in our shop, but as a part of our customers’ day at the Renaissance festival. It’s a very
fast-paced retail environment requiring you to learn a great deal about our various products, bees, and mead.
In addition to manning a checkout station, we greet everyone, answer questions, and provide the customers with samples along with information and ways to use the honey.
** Experience is not required. Honesty, work ethic, and interest in the products are! **
Available positions:
• _1_ Full time shop help
• _1_ Breaker (2 to 4 hours / day in the 11am - 5 pm window)
Job Requirements:
• Set up help on Thursday & Friday before opening if available.
• Required Information Meeting Friday before opening
• You must provide your own faire appropriate garb
• Help open and close the shop daily
• Safely lift, hold, and move boxes of honey (Weight ranges from 10 lbs to 60 lbs)
• Re-stock shelves
• Give samples of honey to the customers
• Operate Square Retail POS register system to ring in sales, including cash handling and making change
• End of season tear down. Typically an extra hour after closing cannon and the following day if available.
Start time: Saturdays 9 am, Sundays 9:30 am
End time: Roughly 7:30 - 7:45, depending on security sweep.
