The Rogers Hotel has stood on the courthouse square in Waxahachie since 1912, a three story brick building constructed to serve traveling salesmen and cotton buyers drawn to the town during its early twentieth century boom.

Later renovations into loft apartments uncovered a hidden speakeasy in the basement dating back to Prohibition, and residents who live in the building now describe hearing music and voices rising from that same basement level late at night, long after it was sealed off from regular use.

A hidden room built to hide an entire era of the building's history, and it seems that history never fully agreed to stay quiet. What do you think still gathers down there after the doors upstairs have all been locked?
