We could not be prouder of Hayden and Harrison in the 3’3 Large Junior 15&U classic at Junior Hunter Finals today! Hayden secured a 5th place finish aboard Colin MR, while Harrison rode Carero to 14th. We are so happy for their top finishes out of 67 competitors! Watch both of their full rounds posted above.

Welcome to DCF, Inouk P💚 We are thrilled to have this special mare in the barn! An excellent week at Tryon is a wrap🎬 The DCF team not only had some incredible results, but we also had the best time! We’re forever grateful to have built a barn family that truly thrives when we’re all together❣️ Some of the top highlights from the week -
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•Carino B and Harrison took the equitation ring by storm, earning top ribbons in the age group equitation, 2nd🥈 in the Hamel, and 3rd🥉 in the SCHJA Governors Cup
•On My Honor and Caroline C. cannot be caught in the Low Childrens Hunter! They were Champion🏆 of the division, bringing home only top 3 finishes. They won🥇 both classes in the 11&U equitation, and were 3rd🥉 in the Challenge with a score of 8️⃣4️⃣
•Colin Mr and Hayden scored an 8️⃣8️⃣ in the first round of the derby to finish 3rd🥉 In consistent fashion, they were also 3rd🥉 in the Junior Hunter Classic
•Las Vegas was a star and helped Evey move up to the 3’3 Juniors for the first time, and they earned both a 1st🥇 and 2nd🥈 He also scored a 9️⃣0️⃣ with in the 3’3 Performance, resulting in the High Score of the Day award. Combined with a 2nd🥈 place, they ended up Reserve Champion after only showing one day of the division. This horse is really stepping into his hunter role nicely, and we couldn’t be more proud!
•Carero and Harrison had great consistent rounds in the Junior Hunters, and they earned an 8️⃣2️⃣ in the second round of the derby
•Our fearless leader got back into the show ring for the first time since having sweet Adeline! She returned in style and won🥇 a huge Foothills Hunter class on Inouk P! Caroline S. also piloted this wonderful mare to a class win🥇 in the USHJA Hunters. A million thanks to for this incredible horse!
•Hayden catch rode Annings Mighty King to Champion🏆 of the Small/Medium Greens. Thanks so much to for the ride!

We are so proud of DCF’s own Cupcake🧁 for his performance at his first-ever Devon! This wonderful young horse earned scores of 83 and 84 in the Large Junior Hunters, arguably one of the toughest divisions of the week💪🏼 Congrats to on the great rides - we can’t wait to see this horse continue to shine at Upperville, then Junior Hunters Finals🔜

A small but mighty group represented DCF last week at Tryon Spring 4💪🏼 Even though we were sad that Saturday was a wash⛈️, we made the other days count! Highlights from the week were -

•Caroline C. and On My Honor continued to dominate the Low Childrens, winning the Challenge with a score of 8️⃣8️⃣ and finishing as Reserve Champion🏆 of the division. They also won🥇 the 11 and under equitation flat!
•Harrison and Signature continued to shine in the equitation ring, winning🥇 the EJ Haun and earning 3rd🥉 in both the Taylor Harris and the SCHJA Governors Cup
•Caroline S. and Charlemagne keep getting better and better in the jumper ring, riding to multiple clean rounds💨
•Carino B and Harrison also took on the jumpers, and they, too, rode to clean and efficient rounds👏🏼

DCF is thrilled to extend a huge welcome to Signature, Harrison’s new equitation partner💫 These two started off their partnership with a bang💥, winning the NCHJA Childrens Medal during Aiken Charity week 1🥇 Big thank you to and for being truly wonderful to work with - we’re so grateful to have amazing relationships with equally amazing trainers and farms. We can’t wait to watch these two continue to take on the equitation ring together!!

DCF wrapped up Aiken Charity 2 with more top ribbons and excellent memories made✨ We saw a lot of our newest partnerships make great strides together, and we are so proud of the successes we were able to witness! Some of the top moments from the week included -

🌸Hayden and Nefriet EZB took home 1, 1, and 2🥇🥇🥈 for division Champion🏆 in the 1m Junior Jumpers - so impressive after only two weeks together!
🌸Evey and Las Vegas continued to get to know each other, laying down incredibly consistent rounds with scores in the 80s in the Childrens Hunters, plus a third place finish🥉 in the SCHJA Governors Cup
🌸Carero earned great ribbons in the 3’3 Large Juniors, including a second place finish🥈 on Saturday and a class win🥇 on Sunday with Tegan Price - thank you for the catch ride!
🌸Harrison and Carino B earned third🥉 in the EJ Haun and the 12-14 Equitation - Harrison is really finding her stride in the equitation ring
🌸Caroline and On My Honor were Reserve Champion🏆 in the Low Childrens Hunters, resulting in Grand Champion for the two weeks and winners of the Quasa Grande Perpetual Trophy🌟
🌸Hayden and Colin MR won🥇 the 3’3 Large Junior Hunter U/S

The first week of the Aiken Charity Horse Show is a wrap, and what a week we had! This horse show is such a treat to attend - from the phenomenal hospitality to the top notch VIP that is provided every year, Deer Creek is so proud to be a sponsor.

As this is the most competitive show we attend during the year, we are extra thrilled with our riders’ performances. Some highlights from the week include -

🌷 Caroline S. and Cherrybrook Blue Reign were Reserve Champion🏆 of the Childrens Pony hunters
🌷 Hayden and Colin MR won🥇 the SCHJA Governors Cup, scored an 84 in the THIS, and earned second🥈 in the Junior Hunter handy round out of an extremely competitive group
🌷 Zoey and Euphoria had a clean sweep🧹 of the Older Childrens Hunters O/F, and won🥇 the combined Childrens Hunter Classic. This talented horse is available for trials this week‼️
🌷 Evey and Las Vegas made their show debut count, finishing up their week with an 8️⃣5️⃣.5️⃣ in the classic round
🌷 Caroline C. and On My Honor continued their winning streak, resulting in Reserve Champion🏆 of a huge Low Childrens Hunter division and wins🥇 across the board in the 11&U Equitation
🌷 Harrison and Signature won🥇 the NCHJA Childrens Medal with an incredible score of 8️⃣7️⃣- thank you and for the wonderful Signature
🌷 Liz and her longtime partner One Request returned to the show ring, taking second🥈 in a huge non-pro hunter division

We are beyond excited to welcome Evey to DCF, and to congratulate her on the lease of DCF’s very own Las Vegas!🎰 We couldn’t be any more enthusiastic about this pair - Vegas will be the perfect partner to help Evey reach her goals✨ The cherry on top is getting to keep Vegas in the barn♥️ So thrilled about this new match, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two!
