Aiken Fall Festival I had us feeling like it was more of a summer show than the kickoff to the fall season with the temperatures🥵 But the DCF team stepped up to the plate and brought their own heat🔥 Some top moments from the week included -
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍂 Somermist Cassiopeia and Ella were Champion🏆 of the Aiken Hunters out of over 20 horses, while earning great ribbons in the Medium Ponies with Caroline C.
🍂 Las Vegas and Mikey Andrade earned top ribbons in the 3’3 Performance, while he and Evey competed their way to Reserve Champion🏆 of a huge 3’3 Junior Hunter division, punching their ticket🎟️ to JHF 2027!
🍂 Home Team and Maggie took home great ribbons in the Childrens Hunter including a win🥇 in the U/S
🍂 On My Honor and Caroline C. were unstoppable in the Low Childrens Hunters, placing top 2 in every class! They were Champion🏆 of the division and 4th in the Challenge
🍂 Signature and Harrison continued to sharpen their partnership, bringing home 3rd🥉 in the USHJA Jump Seat Medal and 8th in the Governors Cup Final - Harrison’s first-ever equitation final!
🍂 Ask and Liz stepped back into the show ring and earned great ribbons in huge USHJA Hunter group; an excellent outing for the pair that only shows a couple times a year!
🍂 Carino B and Hayden conquered the Taylor Harris, earning 2nd🥈 after moving up in the test. This was this pair’s first time in the show ring together, and Hayden did a great job taking the reins!

The DCF Team is gearing up for an exciting fall schedule🍂 We couldn’t be any more excited that the prestigious and long-standing National Horse Show is going to be taking place in our “backyard” at Tryon! We can’t wait to see our horse show friends 🔜💚

DCF is proud to offer Somermist Cassiopeia for sale or lease! “Cassie” is an 11 year old medium pony, and she is the total package. She is the model, hack, and O/F winner - she won the Medium Pony U/S at Devon in 2025 and was 6th overall at Pony Finals last year. She has brought her current rider up from the Short Stirrup all the way to finishing Reserve Champion in the Mediums at Blowing Rock 2026. She is super forgiving, has a perfect lead change and a big stride, and zero spook. Cassie has many points for Indoors and Devon. She is available to be tried at Pony Finals this week - please contact Jenna at 847-858-1391 for more information and to set up trials.

Looking 🔙 on the second week at Blowing Rock✌🏼 We truly had so much fun at this show, not only getting to spend time in the cooler weather in the mountains, but getting to do it with dear friends💚

⛰️ Bubble Wrap made her DCF return with Amelia, and reminded us all while she is a forever favorite - winning🥇 the Walk/Trot Eq, the Walk/Trot U/S, and getting second🥈 in the Walk/Trot Pleasure to finish up as Champion🏆
⛰️ Somermist Cassiopeia and Caroline C. were Reserve Champion🏆 in the Medium Ponies and Reserve Circuit Champion - best of luck to these two as they head to Pony Finals this week👏🏼
⛰️ Harrison continued to succeed in the equitation, earning second🥈 in the USHJA Hunter Seat Medal with Carino B and second🥈 in the NCEA Medal with Signature
⛰️ Colin Mr and Hayden were second🥈 in a big THIS Medal, earning an 84 and moving up in the test
⛰️ Home Team and Maggie brought home top ribbons in every Childrens Hunter class and finished second🥈 in the combined classic
⛰️ Our junior hunters all showed off excellent consistency, as did our two in the Low Childrens - we love seeing these horses continue to improve week after week

Everybody rode so confidently and consistently in tough conditions. We are so proud of our team and are already looking forward to next year at this wonderful show💚

Tryon Summer 5✅ The DCF team had a busy week! A huge thank you, first and foremost, to our fearless leader - she kept everything running smoothly while also showing herself, and we couldn’t be any more grateful for her💚 Some favorite moments from the week include -

☀️ Maggie Sozzi made her big return to the show ring with her reliable partner Home Team in top form, earning Champion🏆 in the Low Childrens, second🥈 in the Low Childrens medal, and third🥉 in the challenge
☀️ Allison Remo and Sir Phillip joined us for their first show with DCF and got better and better each time they stepped into the ring
☀️ Caroline C. and On My Honor continued their winning ways in the Low Childrens, winning🥇 an O/F and receiving second🥈 in the challenge
☀️ Harrison C. kept growing in the equitation on both Signature and Carino B, earning second🥈 in a competitive 12-14 equitation class as well as in the EJ Haun
☀️ Hayden, Harrison, and Evelyn all brought home top placings in the 3’3 Juniors
