Week One weather in Blowing Rock kept us on our toes but was still lots of fun!

Last week Brooklyn carried the team in the. 1.0 USHJA Jumper Championship and this week Tegan was carried in the 1.20 Championship, but in both cases they competed on a team… and rode spectacularly. Even when Tegan had to mount in the stadium, the only way we could get Corey in the ring!

Summer 5 was great, with winning and learning done by all.

Can’t forget Avery and Edi! Last but not least , their division was held all on Sunday due to Saturday afternoon thunderstorms and they had fun!

Great week in Tryon for the NCHJA finals! Congrats to all our riders! Gracyn and Frenchie moved up to the Juniors, Katelyn and Fred were united after almost a year and a half, Addison and Dominga and Loral and Falco were super for their first shows together, Midas and Brooklyn made a great comeback after being out for awhile, Jennifer and Arnold brushed the rust off and got better as they went, as did Isla and Bowie, ending up great!

Cedarhill divided and conquered this past week with Keen, Corey and I heading to Bruce’s Field and Caroline and Rebekah with a giant crew heading to Highfields. Lots of great success for all!

Congratulations to Tegan, champion earlier this week at Junior Hunter Finals in Kentucky with Cathy Geitner and then champion at the end of the week with our newest Junior hunter- CHF Keen. Just out of the jumper ring he took to the hunters even better than we expected!
