The Kuehm Farm dates back to 1894 when the property was purchased by the first of five generations to own and operate the farm located in Wayne, NJ. Farms View has evolved from a picnic table on a side lawn many years ago, to a large 40 x 80' farm market building with an attached greenhouse. Our barnyard of animals get taken care of twice daily. We have six of our nine greenhouses full of seedling
s by the middle of February. In the Spring just before Easter, we re-open for the season. The Easter Bunny visits on Good Friday and Saturday weather permitting. Mothers Day is then just around the corner. Farms View offers a wide variety of flower arrangements in decorative baskets and pots. The arrangements are live and will last the season or can be transplanted into the garden to enjoy for the summer. Bedding plants, annuals, perennials, and hanging baskets are available in flats and pots of all sizes. Bulk/bagged mulch, bulk/bagged topsoil, potting soil, peat moss and fertilizer for your planting needs are also available. All of these things are available for delivery. A picture that you , up until now could only have if you traveled to do so! Be it going to the Jersey shore, Florida or flying to an island, these feelings were just a thought, a place you could go to only in your mind! Now thanks to Farmsview those thoughts are as close as your local farm market and backyard!! After researching and brainstorming new ideas for products to expand on our greenhouse production, we came up with yes, you guessed it TROPICALS! From small ferns to 15ft. Remember the moments of baking with Grandma in her kitchen and the smells of fresh baked pies and goodies coming from the oven! Reminisce on the times spent measuring, mixing and making memories. Several years ago Farms View did just that! For years, the thoughts of a bakery were in the works. With much brainstorming and hard work in July of 2018 all the thoughts became reality! Farms view took the leap and put in a bakery! Now in just a couple years time, we have gone from the small choice of donuts and pies to an expanded menu of pies, donuts, cookies, breads and beyond! With our fresh baked pies and products, baked on site and fresh daily, let us take you back to the good old days! Our Harvesting season is soon to begin with homegrown produce picked fresh daily including over sixty-five varieties of vegetables and fruits. In October Farms View has hayrides with U-Pick pumpkins. Hayrides are open to the public on the weekends and Columbus Day. During the week hayrides are by reservation for groups, class trips and birthday parties. Come see Happy Jack, our animated talking pumpkin. We close on Halloween, and reopen the Monday before Thanksgiving for our Christmas season, which continues roughly through the third weekend of December.
