We would like to officially apologize to the communities that we serve. We were unable to meet for the beginner beekeeping classes this season. The reason being is the bees were just too aggressive for beginners. It wouldn’t have been a fun learning environment. We are currently planning next season and we still have the list of all those that showed interest in taking the class. We will be messaging each person individually. Sorry for the inconvenience, and we look forward to serving you in the near future!

This little bundle of joy is weaned and ready to go, so if you just have to have a baby goat in your life she would be a great addition to your herd! She is electric fence trained, and I have pics of mom and dad if you’re interested DM me.

There has been a lot of talk about salmonella outbreaks. This some advice for those of us that are new to raising chickens:

1) Wear gloves and wash your hands
2) If you don’t wear gloves make sure you wash your hands.
3) Wear dedicated closed footwear, boots or shoes, no sandals.
4) Store your footwear outside or in a designated area that is separate from your everyday footwear.
5) Wear designated clothing.
6) Store your designated clothing separate from the rest of your clothing. Wash daily, or immediately wash any clothing that has any debris on it.
7) Keep the entrance to your living space clean and free of animal debris.
