We’ve been traveling back and forth the last few months, getting winter brush cleaned up and property in tip top shape. Been making homemade bread, getting fresh milk from our Holstein and making homemade butter as well. Our little boy has been enjoying doing chores throughout the day and playing with the animals.

With spring here, which means more and more people start to burn their brush piles and other things..but this also means the early start of wildfire season..we STRONGLY encourage land management at green mountain ranch. Making sure that dead or downed trees are cleaned and removed aswell as leaves and twigs can not only keep ip the appeal of your home or ranch but could also mean the future of your home in the chances of a fire. defendable spaces are a huge property/home saver if the event of a large fire or even a small brush fire. Making sure that grass is cut low to the ground and no large fry trees directly around your home is a major plus. if you are going to burn make sure it’s on PERMITTED DAYS do not burn on No permitted days and if so don’t burn with high winds. Even small up gusts can be catastrophic.
