Mid-August through end of October
Hey! Are you curious about how grapes become wine? Want to get your hands (and clothes) dirty in the process? Join us for harvest at Common Wealth Crush, a custom crush facility tucked in the Shenandoah Valley that’s all about community, collaboration, and low-intervention winemaking.
We work with a bunch of different producers and styles, so it’s a bit like wine bootcamp… but with better snacks and a dog named Birdie.
What you’ll be doing (besides vibing to loud music in the cellar):
Receiving and processing fruit (you’ll see a lot of grapes)
Punchdowns and cap management
Cleaning everything. Then cleaning it again.
Racking, barreling down, and other fun cellar magic
Learning a ton by doing and asking questions
No experience? No problem.
We’re all about teaching. If you’re curious, motivated, and into wine, you’re our kind of person.
The details:
💰 Competitive pay + overtime
🥪 Lunch included most days (we eat well)
🏠 No housing provided – locals or folks with nearby housing or folks open to relocation encouraged
📆 Mid-August through end of October
