What a wild wet weekend! BBQLab and our newest team member BBQPit traveled to Milford Delaware to compete in the First State BBQ Bash. This is a great location and a great contest run by Ham Squad BBQ Dave Dick.
The weekend was no joke and everyone competing in the Nor’easter that dumped rain on us all weekend deserved a trophy.
Here’s our results!
Day 1
Chicken second place 🥈 (tied for first)
Ribs 6th place
Overall GC

This weekend was extra special as this was our first GC. We’ve been chasing this for 3.5 years and this shows what hard work and a lot of hard headed stubbornness can accomplish when you don’t give up. There were times when I questioned why I keep doing this but I don’t give up and effort reaches its full potential when one refuses to quit.
