🥕The farmers market will be open on August 29th from⏰9am-1pm⏰at Constitution Park on 215 W Main St in Waynesboro.

🥐We've got over 20 vendors coming to market on Saturday with everything you need for a fantastic home-cooked meal, including: pasture-raised meats, farm fresh eggs, hot and iced coffee, fresh baked goods, homegrown fruits and vegetables, fresh-squeezed juice, local honey, and so much more!

We are celebrating all that August has to offer us in terms of fresh produce this week, and one fun way is with this weekends' recipe: Grilled Watermelon! Taken from Love & Lemons, this recipe is a tasty and simple side dish featuring some of our August favorites!

To make this recipe, you'll need:
🍉watermelon
🍃basil
🌽 fresh corn
garlic
🫑 red bell pepper
red onion
🧀 feta cheese
Green Tabasco Sauce
🥑 avocado
🍃 fresh mint

You can get several ingredients for this at the farmers market, and be sure to grab your recipe card from the ProjectGROWS tent this Saturday from 9am-1pm!

To make this recipe, you'll need:
-1 can chickpeas
- baking soda
🍋 lemon juice
garlic
fine sea salt
Soom Tahini
💦 ice water
cumin
🫒extra virgin olive oil

fresh parsley..and of course, fresh cut veggies from the farmers market to dip in your hummus!

It’s a great day to head down to the farmers market! We’re open until 1pm at Constitution Park in Waynesboro, and the temperature out here is pretty much perfect!

If you need me, I’ll be looking for these rocks tomorrow at the market!

Wanna play a game? I’ve teamed up with an amazing local artist Katy Boyd-Tyree to bring the painted rock trend to the Waynesboro Farmers Market!! If you find one of these adorable rocks bring them by Franny Made and get a free cookie!! These have Franny Made written on the back but I will give a cookie for any painted rock found. Even if you bring your own. While supplies/cookies last of course. There will be both pumpkin and chocolate chip.

Back to School means back to some of our favorite fall flavors while still being able to enjoy your summer favorites, and our vendors are so there for it! Join us on Saturday where you can pick up:

Poplar Ridge Farms is bringing lots of tomatoes and cucumbers - just perfect for a quick salad!

Franny Made LLC is debuting a pumpkin and white chocolate cookie that will make you forget about that summer diet. It's almost fall, y'all - embrace the baggy sweaters and have a cookie!

Hearthstone Farm will have a limited supply of nectarines, peaches, and macintosh apples available - what a great idea for an after school snack!

Crust & Crumb WickedGood Sourdough has breakfast covered with her apple scones!
