What fun it was to go out in the field and harvest these beautiful heirloom varieties. They were grown in a part of the pasture that we hadn't tilled up before and many native American artifacts were turned up in the process. This farm sits on the highest point for many miles around and there was an Indian settlement here long ago.

Some may be wondering if we still have produce for sale. The answer is YES. We have lots of different greens - chard, kale, spinach, lettuce and arugula, sweet and hot peppers, garlic, multi colored beets, lots of different heirloom tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, heirloom winter squash and pumpkins, apricot jam and carrot cake preserves. Fresh herbs are also available - oregano, tarragon, basil, catnip and spearmint. Soon we will have multi colored carrots. Contact us for pricing and pick up options.

We're here at Robinwood Medical Center selling our delicious produce. Something new is the Marina di Chioggia squash, also called a sea pumpkin. It's an heirloom variety that began near Venice in the late 1600's. Italian chefs are crazy about it. Supposed to have a rich sweet flavor, much fuller than our American varieties.
