Happy June Dairy Month!

People ask us all the time “where can we buy milk and dairy products from Georgia dairy farms?” Whether you buy directly from the farm or from your nearest grocery store, you are supporting Georgia’s dairy farm families when you purchase a gallon of milk (or two)! Almost every major grocery store in Georgia and several popular brands of milk buy milk from our Georgia dairy farmers. Georgia has two commercial milk processing plants in the Atlanta area. These plants bottle milk for Kroger and Publix stores across the Southeast. Outside of Georgia are bottling plants for Mayfield Dairy, TG Lee, PET, and many more. These plants also use a lot of Georgia milk and can be found in Grocery stores across the state.

There are also a few farms in Georgia that process their own milk like Mountain Fresh Creamery, Rock House Farm & Creamery Southern Swiss Dairy, LLC
