How gorgeous are these 'Dr. Alexander Fleming' blooms?!
Fun fact: my first week working at a few seasons ago they had a 'Dr. Alexander Fleming' plant with the most perfect bloom on it. I decided it would be the first thing I bought with my first paycheck, just so I could cut the bloom and bring it inside the house. That's exactly what I did. That little plant brought me so much joy until I killed it by digging it up to relocate it and managed to forget it in the garage for 4 months. So I bought and planted a bunch of replacement bare roots two years ago and here we are. 😅

My second semester of grad school ended Friday and I'm in recovery mode now. Tomorrow will be the first day of physically beginning work on my thesis research which I'm really excited to share with y'all. It involves 1600 zinnias. Need I say more?!?!?

First handful of peonies this season and I am so in love. Don't you just want to shrink down and curl up on all those petals like a little fairy bed?
I planted the crowns for these plants in 2023 with the dream that in a few years I'd get to harvest big, beautiful bunches of magical flowers. Last year was a taste of that magic with only needing to pinch half of the flower buds so the plants could put more energy into getting established. This year, no pinching needed, just lots and lots of blooms instead.
I have limited availability right now since they are just getting started for the season. Let me know if you need a few stems though!

This variety, 'Sir Winston Churchill,' is the best smelling variety of the 7 we grow here. It's the last one to bloom, ending the daffodil season on a bittersweet note. Make sure to order some so you can experience them for yourself.
