Remembering HONEY JAY - He is 26 years old here. We still have 2 mares by Honey Jay on the farm (now retired). We were so lucky to have had him at our farm. We raced both mares, E Golden Honey was a stakes winner in Ohio and it was a real thrill racing her.

Yesterday early evening the turkeys were out and resting in two groups under the trees on either side of they driveway out by the back barn. As I got closer the stood up, as if I disturbed them, looked at me and then began walking towards the woods. Their feathers in the sunlight are so beautiful - almost iridescent.
