Last Saturday was one for the books! 🍎🍂

We rolled into the Apple Harvest Festival bundled up and bracing for the cold, not quite sure what kind of crowd that abrupt chilly mountain air would bring. Then y’all showed up… and kept showing up! All day long, our tent was full of familiar faces, brand-new friends, and plenty of rosy cheeks and cold hands wrapped around a craft drink from us, hot apple c***r included! You are truly some of the best jerks around. 🥹

So many of you stopped by the tent and then made your way to the shop afterward to keep the fun going. That means more to us than we can say.

And the fun’s just getting started! 🎄 Gingerbread Soda is officially here, pouring on draft and available by the bottle. It’s joined by our new Gourmet Goodies Gingerbread Pecans, Wholly Goat Soaps foaming hand soap, and a whole bunch of fresh gift shop additions that make perfect stocking stuffers (or a little treat for yourself, no judgment here).

📍 Come see us Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM–6 PM. We took our usual weekend break to rest up and recharge, and we’re back and ready to pour for you!

Bundle up and come on out, the Jerks are officially set up at this year’s Apple Harvest Festival! 🍎🧣

It’s a chilly, windy one this morning, but we’ve got just the thing to keep you cozy 👍 Come warm up with our hot apple c***r, or grab it cold if you’re braving the breeze like a true mountain local. 🌬️

Fresh off the line: we just bottled our Gingerbread Soda yesterday morning, and this weather couldn’t be more perfect for it! 🫚✨ Try it as a Dirty Gingerbread Soda, topped with cold foam and a dusting of cinnamon.

We’ll be pouring soda on draft today, so if you’ve got your souvenir mug, bring it out to either location! 🍻 Missed out on the Haywood’s Historic Farmers Mkt OGs? We’ve got brand new souvenir mugs in stock too.

Gingerbread Soda is BACK, y’all! 🫚🍪🫧

Bottled fresh this morning and already on our retail shelves, this is the earliest we’ve ever bottled our holiday seasonal flavor. We couldn’t wait, and we figured you couldn’t either. Just in time for tomorrow’s Apple Harvest Festival, too!

Every bottle is packed with warm cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, sorghum syrup, real vanilla bean, and a hint of orange zest. It’s the holidays, but make it fizzy! 🍊

That kick of ginger comes from our friends at Rayburn Farms in Barnardsville, NC. You can find their hot cocoas in our shop, too! We’re proud to source local and support the farmers who make our sodas taste like home. 🤎

Want a taste first? Gingerbread Soda is now on draft in the gift shop! Stop in for a sample, grab a cup, or have us turn it into a dirty soda or a soda float with Sunshine Sammies ice cream. 🍦

“So… I heard you got ice cream?” 🍦 Yes we do, and it’s from our friends at Sunshine Sammies!

So many of you have been asking, so here’s the scoop 😋 All of our delicious offerings now live together at the Sips & Snacks Bar inside our gift shop and production facility. That includes Sunshine Sammies ice cream sandwiches 🍪 straight from downtown Asheville, PLUS scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream with our draft soda poured right over top. Soda floats, the way they were meant to be! We’re so happy to offer this new treat to all of you.

Stop in this weekend for an Apple Rosemary or Strawberry Lemonade soda slushie, or build your very own soda float 🫧 Pair it with one of our amazing North Carolina-made snacks from all corners of the state. From Gourmet Chip Company, Poppy Popcorn, Carolina Peanut Factory and more, you’ll find a bold or classic flavor that speaks to you.

We had a great day at the market today! Lots of deliveries came in 🛻🚛

Lots of beautiful plants and some hanging asparagus ferns 🪴

McCranie Meadows brought lots of fresh milled bread loaves, dinner rolls, bagels, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and cookies

Faith and Chaos Farms brought lots of fresh sourdough loaves, sub rolls, oatmeal cream pies, and muffins

We got a delivery of lots of organic and local produce. I'll have a full list tomorrow.

Spicy fans, this one’s for you! 🌶️ Our newest craft syrup has arrived, and it’s turning the heat dial up.

Meet Spicy Serrano Pepper Syrup, the latest addition to our syrup lineup (with plenty more flavors on the way 🤗). It’s made with the same simple ingredients we use in our sodas: NC-grown serrano peppers, cane sugar, filtered water, lime zest, and citric acid. Nothing artificial, just real peppers with a sweet-heat kick.

Not sure how spicy? Balanced with sweetness and lime, it drinks about as mild as a jalapeño. Bright, fresh warmth with a friendly kick. 🔥

Behind every bottle is our tiny team of six, wearing just about every hat in the building. We bottle, deliver, sling tasty drinks from the soda bar, and take each day as it comes. It can be hard work, but we always pull through together and have plenty of laughs along the way.

Big news, apple lovers… the “Jerks” are returning to Waynesville’s Apple Harvest Festival for the first time in over 7 years! 🍎🍏✨

Come find us downtown this Saturday, October 17, from 10AM–5PM for fun drinks, sweet treats, and our perfectly in-season Apple Rosemary Soda. 😌 Plus, keep an eye out… another seasonal favorite might just be making a surprise return. 👀
