So life be life-ing y’all!!!
There hasn’t been much progress on the cabin but after 2 crazy months I finally got some things done today. I am down to small things. Hopefully I can keep progress going! Thank you all for following. Hopefully I can open soon!!

Every project has its challenges, but how those challenges are handled makes all the difference.

One more big milestone in the books! 🙌

The flooring is finally down, and it’s amazing how one step can completely transform a space. What used to feel like a construction project is finally starting to feel like a cabin.

It’s been a journey filled with long evenings, unexpected challenges, and plenty of learning along the way. Every piece that goes in makes all the hard work worth it.

Next up: trim, furniture, and all the finishing touches that will bring this place to life. We can’t wait to welcome our first guests and let them enjoy this little getaway as much as we’ve enjoyed building it.

What do you think of the flooring? We wanted something that looked like weathered wood but would hold up to years of cabin life.

Before the flooring goes down and these scriptures are covered , we wanted to leave a foundation that means something.
Today we wrote Scripture throughout the cabin—verses of hope, protection, peace, and faith. No one may ever see these words for a long time but we know they’re there, woven into the very foundation of this cabin.
Praying that everyone who walks through these doors feels God’s presence, finds rest, and creates memories that last a lifetime.
