Happy Canyon Ranch Sharing the thrill of the Palo Duro Canyons, wildlife, golden fields of wheat, and the biggest sky in the world!

A family retreat and a working cattle ranch, Happy Canyon Ranch is named after the Happy Canyon that runs through the ranch. Happy Canyon is part of the Palo Duro Canyons in the Texas Panhandle. The farmland on the ranch produces wheat, while the grasslands and canyon lands offer a habitat for mule dear, wild hogs, turkeys,
pheasant, quail, and a multitude of other animals. Aoudad sheep have been

spotted, as well as small wild members of the cat family. Of course, there are plenty of snakes and skunks to deal with, but the beauty of the canyons and the serenity of the remote location make Happy Canyon Ranch a great retreat. Originally a part of the JA Ranch, Happy Canyon Ranch has been in the family since 1929.
