I made this the other day and both my boys came through the kitchen at different times and just stood over the Crock Pot picking at it before I even had plates out. I swear I cannot keep food in this house. Two college boys living at home means I'm basically running a restaurant that doesn't charge. This ranch chicken and gravy is in heavy rotation around here because it feeds them and they actually stop talking long enough to eat it. I love it because it gets us all around the table and that's a rare thing. It's kind of a thinner gravy, but it's so good to just drizzle it all over the chicken. And the chicken...it is so tender. I can shred it with one hand and a fork. I love it on top of mashed potatoes because it just feels like the most comforting dinner, but you can also add it to rice or pasta. Or even veggies, if you're feeling healthy!
