The Shadow Peak ladies lead the way this weekend. With Pacer celebrating his grandmother’s 98th birthday in Lubbock this weekend, Alicia, Kendall and Casey were the driving force to another (second and back-to-back) State Championship in Granbury at the Texas Cowboy Symposium. The girls took over, took control and took home the Buckle. We had a little time to share the history and art of the chuckwagon with all three grandkids. I have no doubt, the second generation is primed and ready to venture out on their own and roll their own trail. The third generation will be right on their heels. Ready to roll out, maybe with Ol’ Pete??? I am so proud of our team, our brand and mostly our Family! Thank you to all of you who have been there for us and keep supporting our vision.
Very special thank you to Homer and Kathy Robertson, Warrens Backyard.! Great event, Great venue, Great people. Next year, turn the A/C back on. Thank you to Kathy Christiansen for finding and trusting me with the beautiful Newton wagon years ago!Thank you to Glenn Moreland for the perfect chuckbox!

We are often asked how to get started.
Where do you get a wagon? The equipment, the treasures and most of all, the opportunity to learn the craft and begin your own journey down the trail can start with a purchase of a ticket!

Tickets can be purchased online through the link in the A.C.W.A. profile until October 31st!

🎟️ Tickets are only $50 each!
🏆 Will be drawn on FB LIVE on November 7th, 2026.

Cooked over a fire, served off a wagon, eaten under the Texas sky. 🍽️

The chuckwagon cook off and dinner is one of the best things about ranch rodeo weekend. $20 a plate starting at 6:00, with Rowdy Decker & Friends playing while you eat.

Come hungry and stay a while.

Great weekend in Cleburne! Thank you Carrie Murdoch and your team at the Chisholm Trail Museum. Rain, snow, sh_t or blow…we cowboyed up and had a great camp. Can’t wait for the next camp.
