Boonuelos was born here at Eleven Bar Ranchโ€”by Once In a Blu Boon, out of Smart Nu Annie. Now he's in the show pen with Jay McLaughlin, doing exactly what you hope for when you raise a horse from the ground up.

Soul Sista, by Metallic Cat and out of One Sweet Sis, earned $103,464 in the cutting pen before we brought her into our broodmare band.

Bred by Kelsey Johnson and shown by Matt Gaines throughout her career, she came home to Eleven Bar Ranch to do the next job, producing performance horses. Her first foals are 2-year-olds this year, in training at Chase Hermes Performance Horses and we're excited with what we've seen so far.

A mare that competed at that level and now passes it on. That's exactly what we look for.

Watching Elevens and Cooper Noland compete in the bridle is a reminder of why we do this.

A young rider and a well-bred horse, both learning, both improving, both figuring it out together. That partnership, the trust that builds between a horse and rider over time - that's what makes this industry special.

Elevens, out of Shinin Peaches ($30,623 LTE, $164,932 PE), competing in Youth and Non Pro Bridle with Cooper Noland. Both are succeeding in the show pen every time they compete.

๐—ช๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฆ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐˜€ and ๐‘ณ๐’๐’—๐’† ๐‘บ๐’•๐’“๐’–๐’„๐’Œ ๐‘ฉ๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’š put in solid runs all week at the 2026 NRCHA Kimes Ranch Derby. Both horses showed up and competed every single time Jay McLaughlin took them in the pen.

Finals didn't happen this time, but both came home with a check in the Novice Horse Derby. Love Struck Baby earning $1,500 and Wicked Smarts earning $1,100.

This is what building a program looks like. Not every show ends the way you hope, but watching horses out of ๐—ฆ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ฃ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜€ and ๐’๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐๐ฎ ๐€๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ž compete at this level makes it all worth it.

A nine-year-old and a breeding stallion walking into the NRCHA pen together.

That's all you need to know about Tee Boone's disposition.

Logan Alexander has shown him in the Buckaroo classes two years running. No months of preparation together; Logan gets on, takes him in the pen, and competes. Tee Boone adjusts every time like he understands exactly who's asking.

Reyzin Peaches, out of our mare Shinin Peaches and bred here at Eleven Bar Ranch, scored a 219 in the rein work at the 2026 NRCHA Kimes Ranch Derby Open Bridle Spectacular with Clay Roeser.

It never gets old watching a horse you bred show up in the pen like that.

Reyzin Peaches is owned by Kalpowar Quarter Horses.

We are proud to have her representing the ranch.

They head into the cow work on Friday and we are looking forward to seeing what they do.

Both Eleven Bar Ranch horses put in solid herd work at the 2026 NRCHA Kimes Ranch Derby each scoring a 215.5.

Now it's time for the cow work.
