I have LOVED growing and using this rosemary in bouquets. Rosemary is probably my favorite herb. Just cutting it smells so lovely and it smells wonderful in bouquets! The only downside is that it’s a bit time consuming to cut- I have to find tall enough pieces and then have very sharp clippers to cut the thick stems, and then trim off all the smaller side stems. It lasts a very long time in the vase though. ❤️🥳

🌸 My zinnias have been such awesome producers this year! We had some issues with the 2nd and 3rd successions not germinating as well as the 1st (due to watering challenges) but the 1st succession has pushed out hundreds of blooms since June. 🥳🥳 I know there are many flower farmers who don’t love zinnias, but it’s hard to find a tougher, more colorful flower that is easily grown from seed and produces SO many blooms per plant. 🥳🌸🌼

My heat loving gomphrena is still producing like crazy too. Each plant produces bucketfuls of little ball flowers. They are a bit tedious to harvest, but the flowers add that finishing whimsical touch to bouquets and I especially love this bright pink color! They are dryable, too. 🥳❤️🌸

🌼 The marigolds are still producing like crazy! I LOVE these coco gold. They are so big and ruffly and bright. I grew giant orange too this year and they have produced a ton of blooms. The stems of the giant orange are a bit fragile compared to the coco gold. Next year I’m growing a bunch of different coco varieties- yellow, orange, white, and light green. Can’t wait to see those beauties! ❤️🌼

This mahogany splendor hibiscus is as tall as I am! I did not support it, so some of the bush blew over in the last wind/rainstorm. But most of it is still really tall, robust, & healthy! I have LOVED the way these fill out bouquets so whimsically. The only downside is, once cut they will wilt in the heat. So they are a good late spring and fall bouquet filler. ❤️💐

🧐✍🏻 My Dad has done a lot of testing on our soil, which is sandy loam- very heavy on the sand. Which means water and nutrients drain out very quickly and organic matter gets consumed quickly. We have a plan next year to fertilize more often, specifically with more nitrogen. Hopefully this will help some of our varieties that have been short to grow taller. Can’t wait to see those beautiful, tall blooms next year! 💪🌱
