Put some more meat in the freezer today!

Also we’re going to try our hand at dehydrated ears, feet, hearts and liver so if you’re interested in dog treats we will have those soon!

This time we decided to cut off the stomach flaps and try our hand at rabbit jerkey.

Put some of our first grow outs of the year in the freezer! Last year our average weight was a little over 1lb to 1 1/2lbs this year we have started out at 2lbs so I’m very excited!!!! We are making progress on getting our dressed weight up and I’m so proud of our little program slowly making it to where we want to be!

Pedigreed Netherlands dwarfs there’s 1 doe and 1 buck left both are broken chocolate.

The dad of these 2 has AMAZING genes. I have paired him with 2 different does of mine and 1 litter gave me gorgeous colors and the other gave me beautiful structure!

Little update on mama that has 19 babies. Anytime she think there’s a threat she makes sure to get those babies put up first thing! If she finds something to eat she calls all those little babies over to eat first. She has been such a good mama let’s see how far she takes these babies 💕

This is what happens when you don’t know how many chickens you have and they free range. Our very nice neighbors left this message on our porch. Apparently we had a mama go broody right on his side of the fence and she decided to hatch a bunch of babies 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ thankfully we have great neighbors and they kindly returned our chaos back to us ❤️ (there’s 19 babies by the way!)

All of our Netherland Dwarf babies we had this winter/spring! We had 11 babies total among our 3 mamas. 9 out of 11 babies have found homes which is AWESOME considering 7 out of the 9 sold before they were even ready to leave mom. If you’re interested in one of the very few babies we have left I have them marked under their picture. It is a black otter buck and a broken chocolate buck. Please let me know if I can get you more info on them or their pedigrees! 😊
