We welcome the National Homebrewers Convention to Asheville this weekend! We are opening up all day on Thursday (1-7) to give attendees a chance to check out Zebulon. We have a bunch of fun beers on tap including the last ever keg of Original IPA (circa 1840), East India Porter (circa 1840) and some rare bottles from the cellar. This is a free event and open to the general public as well. 🍺🍺🍺🤘

For Asheville Beer Week all the breweries/bar in Weaverville have a fun pub crawl this weekend. Eluvium, Leveller and Zebulon breweries and Lion Dog bar each have a special Witbier on tap. Each location will have a riddle to solve, if you solve them all you will be placed in a raffle for a gift basket. No purchase required.

I’m not sure what spin the others are taking with their Witbier (which is a Belgian style refreshing wheat beer with spices/herbs/??) but ours is brewed with homemade marmalade and a blend of fresh orange peel. Nom! 🍺🍺🤘❤️

New bottle release: Traditional Barleywine (for Oscar Wong) 11.3% ABV. A showcase of the finest English Maris Otter concentrated with a six hour boil. Traditional English hops hang on for dear life against the waves of intense malt and caramel. Aging potential of at least 10 years.

Available at the brewery now and at local bottle shops next week. Bottle conditioned 500 ml bottles $12.

Found this beast hiding behind some boxes in the basement. 2014 Holly King (barrel aged strong ale) from the Green Man days. 3 liter bottle!

Probably the only one of these still in existence? I think we made 24 of them just for employees. Holly King was a barleywine brewed for the holidays and was special because of a ridiculous 12 hour boil. I think it was only brewed a few times?

Looking for a good reason to crack this. After 12 years it’s at its peak.
