One of my favorite things about being a vendor at the Weaverville Certified Farmers' Market is getting to trade food with other vendors.

I always get so excited when I get to trade with Chelsea Trinity River Catering & More. Everything she makes is seriously delicious, and I’m constantly amazed at how she can make anything taste incredible. Those tacos today were SO good!

Chelsea is such an inspiration to me. I love how much she genuinely cares about our community and about serving the best food possible every single time. We are so lucky to have someone like her feeding our little corner of the world.

Thank you for the amazing food, your friendship, and for making farmers market days even better!

Let’s help keep the Junction City Store pumping!

I met Amber last year at a Halloween event where I was selling empanadas. She tried them, loved them, and asked if she could carry them at the Junction City Store. I remember being so happy about it. When you have a small business, it really means a lot when another local business believes in what you’re doing and gives you a place on their shelves.

Since then, we’ve loved having our empanadas at the JC Store, and I’m really grateful for all the support Amber has given Nacha’s Empanadas.

When I heard that their gas pump — after 50 years! — had finally stopped working, I wanted to find a little way for us to help too. The pump is such an important part of Junction City, especially when the next place to get gas means driving all the way into town.

So during the month of August, $2 from every Nacha’s Empanada purchased at Junction City Store will go toward the fund for their new gas pump.

If you’re passing through Junction City, stop by, grab some empanadas and say hi to Amber.

Besides making empanadas, on the first Tuesday of every month we cook lunch at the Golden Age Center. We absolutely love it! It's so much fun, and it's incredibly rewarding to spend time with everyone and do something a little different from making empanadas.

One of the best things about working in the kitchen? Never having to worry about lunch.

Every time I take a break, I tell myself I'm just going to taste one to make sure they're good... and somehow I end up eating a whole empanada. Quality control is serious business, okay? 😂

We'll be at the Lewiston Peddlers Fair this Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with our classic empanada flavors for $6 each.

We absolutely love farmers markets — and one of our favorite things is seeing all of you come back with your punch cards!

Here in Redding Farmers Markets we always see amazing customers completing their punch cards like these big fans here 😄 Happy with their empanadas and coming back for more!

And it’s only 10:30 and we are already almost sold out. We promise we’ll try to start bringing more empanadas next time!

Hello! We’re super excited! Tomorrow the Farmers Market starts at 4 PM. We’ll be there from 4 to 7, or until sold out, with all our empanadas ready to go — plus frozen ones if you’d like to take some home.

The great thing about the frozen option is that if you have EBT, or know a friend who does, they can buy them there using their EBT card.

See you tomorrow! We’ll probably be there almost every Wednesday, but I’ll keep you posted so you can be ready 😊
