Hey hey hey!!! The last time I checked in with y'all it was way over 8 weeks ago!! Do whaaaaat!?!!
And, there's been lots of change over here. Our oldest is about to start middle school and our youngest is going into 3rd grade. I was able to downsize the farm significantly last year, beginning of 2021 we had 18 alpacas, by the beginning of 2022 we have 8. I had so many animals go to absolutely perfect homes, and I'm so happy for all of them and can't wait to see them flourish on their new farms. I'm working part time off the farm, something I haven't done in so many years. And finally feel like I'm contributing to our family in ways I never have. High fives for some self satisfaction!! We all need to do more of that for ourselves. But, we're still here. And still loving what we do.
But, with life throwing us in more directions than we can steer, things are changing. I have decided to take a break on private farm tours. I know, this will be a big bummer to so many. But, back to that self worth part above. π I do not have any alpacas for sale at the moment, and the next batch of crias will be staying here on the farm (unless a perfect home comes along, which happens). However, if you are interested in anything alpaca, let me know, we have the best fiber community in the world right here with lots of connections and lots of farms to support.
So, keep following us here and on FB. You can still get your cute fuzzy faces fix right here!! And most importantly thank you all. Thank you for always being here with us! β€οΈπ¦
