Hello and happy Tuesday everyone!

Today, we return for another week of Cocktail Tuesday!

This week's Cocktail will take us back to the late nineteenth century in Saratoga Springs!

The Saratoga Cocktail, at this time, could refer to two different drinks. One was basically a fancy brandy Cocktail with a sq**rt of champagne (otherwise known as a Chicago cocktail). Then there's the one we talk about today, which splits the difference between a Manhattan and a metropolitan. The fact that this version could stand on its own against the other is really saying something for this time period.

Saratoga Cocktail Ingredient:
-2 dashes of bitters
-1 oz of Brandy
-1 oz of Rye Whiskey
-1 oz of Vermouth Rosso
-1 slice of lemon

Prep:
-Use a small bar glass-

-Put 2 lumps of ice in the glass then add 2 dashes of bitters
-Add 1 oz of brandy, 1 oz of whiskey, and 1 oz of vermouth into the glass
-Stir well then add a quarter slice of lemon and serve

Today, we will be featuring the Beer Hug series from Goose Island Co.!

Beer Hug is a popular line of crushable, fruit-forward IPAs from Goose Island Beer Co. known for packing a high alcohol punch into accessible single-serve and multi-pack options.

Oktoberfest is the world's largest Volksfest, drawing over 6 million visitors annually to Munich, Germany. Originating as a royal wedding celebration in 1810, it spans 16 to 18 days from late September through the first Sunday in October.

A celebration that started on the Theresienwiese has grown to a level of worldwide renown, with many companies and locations adopting their own versions of this German classic. Today, we recognize one of the more prolific American versions of this beloved beer.

Welcome back to another week of Cocktail Tuesday!

Current bar sales reports for this year show that the Negroni is the most popular cocktail!

As we continue this segment, we want to provide the most comprehensive experience possible, and that means highlighting both the old and the new!

This week, we’ll show you how to make the most-ordered drink of the year!

Negroni Ingredients:

-1 oz Gin (such as a London Dry style)

-1 oz Campari

-1 oz Sweet Vermouth

-Orange peel or orange slice

Prep:

-Fill a rocks glass with ice, or place it in the freezer to chill.

-Add the gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth to a mixing glass filled with ice.

-Stir the mixture well for about 20–30 seconds, until it is completely chilled and properly diluted.

-Strain the drink into your prepared rocks glass over a large, fresh ice cube.

-Squeeze the orange peel over the cocktail to release the oils, rub the peel along the rim of the glass, and drop it into the drink.
