Well I have a piece of bad news. One of my Cream Legbar Roosters passed away today. Ole Buddy and me have been going round and round this summer fighting this heat and all the parasites and problems it brings. I have kept him wormed , treated him for mites, gave him poultry cell and Vitamin B-12. And he would be doing fine for awhile and seem like he would relapse or maybe it was something else coming on him. But I have done everything I could to try and get him over whatever had been bothering him. Noticed he was acting sluggish this morning when I was watering them before work and had decided he may have been getting Coccidia so as soon as I got home I got my medicine and headed out here but I was just too late. Don't get me wrong I am not posting things like this for sympathy or for views. I just do it because I want to be transparent and keep y'all up on what is happening here at JS Farms. Unfortunately it's not always perfect and things happen no matter how much you try and prevent it. But I have learned that if you gonna keep animals that you have to expect setbacks. And that's what this is, but we gonna keep trying and do the best we can 😁👍!! Hope you all are doing great and we wish y'all a Happy Monday 😁👍!!
