Hey family of Adam L. Hamrick:

The 2024 Hamrick Reunion is coming up soon!!!

The September reunion will be held Sunday, September 1st, 2024 at Clarksburg Veterans Park, Osborne Shelter. The shelter is on the hill across from the amphitheater.

Hosted by Jim and Diana Lambert and family.

Join us at 10:00 for a family church service, then covered dish lunch at 12 noon. We will have the silent auction as well as an auction led by Zach and Hunter Allen. Bring your food to be shared, items to auction off, your quarters for the cake walk and all your fun selves.

Hope to see all of you there for a spectacular family time.

We lost another loved family member earlier this year, my cousin Don Wyatt. His mom Fonda wanted me to post this here as we will remember him and others at our Decoration service on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the old home place and cemetery.

Hamrick Decoration 2024 will be held as always on the second Sunday of June, which this year is June 9th.

We usually plan to be up on the mountain around 10 am, so we can hold the service in the cemetery then join together for a meal and to catch up for another year.

Family and friends, please make plans to attend.

Hamrick Family and friends. With sadness
I wanted to share with you that we will NOT be holding the Hamrick Decoration this year due to the unprecedented times brought on us by the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, on June 14th, 2020 I encourage you as individual families to remember those who we have lost who touched us in so many ways and tell some good ole Hamrick stories. I remember Uncle Wilton Hamrick sharing many of these stories growing up and continually miss him and others of our family who have gone on to be with Jesus.

I also encourage you that weekend to reach out by phone, text or other ways to your family you may not see as often. Call an aunt or uncle. Send a cousin a text or email. Or go old school and actually write a letter to a family member and mail it.

Life is precious and I love all my Hamrick family. I anticipate that I will see all of you back up at the Homeplace for Decoration 2021. Until then my love to each of you.
