The Mary Mart LLC Handcrafted artisanal jams and jellies using the best locally grown fruits and ingredients.

I first started making jams and other home-canned products over 30 years ago when I was still working full time. During that time I also completed the course and received my certification in home preserving from the University of Georgia. Back then my son named the pantry under the stairs where all the jars were stored, The Mary Mart, and the name stuck. Fast forward a few years and my grandsons n

ow come by every once in a while to "shop" The Mary Mart for their favorites. In recent years my husband and I began experimenting with a variety of alcohols and fruits, developing unique gourmet jams and jellies. Sourcing fresh fruit picked at the height of the season from local South Carolina farms, we use the best of the best to create our line of Spirited Jams & Jellies. Every single flavor is handcrafted and put through a variety of taste tests before it's added to our line-up.

*Alcohols used are like extracts used in baking (all extracts are made with alcohol) to enhance the natural flavors.

Wow, look at the wonderful golf cart and golf bag cookie cutters I got for my Father's Day cookies (see the post at Nikki'sSweetArt and The Mary Mart LLC, plus here, of course). Josh McCarthy of McCarthy Creations made them for me last week. They are perfect! He will work with you to create what you need/want. Look at the beveled-type cutting edge and the opposite side where you push the cutter into the dough and lift it out! Couldn't have been done any better! It's JUNE!! Guess where The Mary Mart, LLC (Mary's Spirited Jams and Jellies & Nikki's Sweet Art) will be this month? You're RIGHT!! At the Sumter Farmers Market on the USC-Sumter campus every Friday and also the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month (that's June 6 & 20th)!! Come on out on Fridays from noon until 5:00pm and on Saturdays from 9:00am until 1:00pm!!
