A family-friendly reminder… ❤️
If something isn’t perfectly straight, sometimes it’s because it was cut by little hands. 🥰 Our children, grandchildren, and even our grandbaby nephews all get to help around here.
Today, it’s a sewing lesson and a cutting lesson, and I have my sweet helper, Elijah, by my side. 🧵✂️
But it’s about so much more than teaching him how to measure, cut, sew, or “do things the right way.” It’s about the time we’re spending together. The conversations. The laughter. The little moments of simply being together.
He may not realize it now, but these are the moments he’ll remember for years to come.
And that, my friends, is the important part. I promise. ❤️

This morning, during my scroll of Facebook, I saw someone post about bacon. Of course, then I wanted bacon to eat..but resisted the urge. But, I started wondering how do people like their bacon? I know my children’s preferences and my husband…but what about you??

I’m spending some time at my sister’s little farm in South Georgia today and I got to milk her sweet Nigerian Dwarf goats! 🐐🥛
I’m so excited to be able to use her fresh goat’s milk alongside our farm-raised beef tallow to create goat milk + tallow soaps and lotions that we’ll be able to offer at Blended Pastures Farmstead! 🌿
There’s something extra special about knowing where the ingredients come from and being able to make these products from the ground up. From her little farm to ours, we can’t wait to share them with you! 🤍🌱

At Blended Pastures Farmstead, we believe knowing your farmer and knowing where your food comes from matters.
Our goal is simple: local beef from people you can actually talk to and a farm you can visit.
We also believe in making the most of what the farm provides, which is why we take a head-to-tail approach to our products.
🥩 Beef — locally raised grass-fed, grain-finished beef
