Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking and you order out. Tonight we ordered from our local pizzeria down the street, Mike and Frank's Pizzeria Italian Restaurant We have been ordering from them for over 5 years. Tonight we tried the New York White pie. Of course I couldn't help myself and had to add microgreens. I paired it with arugula. It did not disappoint.

Today is National Day to a few things and none are common with each other. The one I choose to celebrate is....

Happy National Child Health Day!

NATIONAL CHILD HEALTH DAY
In the United States, National Child Health Day occurs each year on the first Monday in October. The day recognizes the care and guidance children need to grow strong and healthy.

From birth, a child’s health depends on receiving the nutrients needed to survive and thrive.
The foods children eat in early stages of life will affect their overall health. Their brains, bones, teeth, organs and blood are affected by food. Daily functions are also food affected, sleep. exercise, play and ect.

Lead by example.
Healthy choice for body:
Food shop with them for fresh fruits and vegetables.
Healthy choice for mind:
Cook with them.
They love to help in the kitchen and helps build confidence.
Eat with them.
Table time- When ever possible try to eat meals with your children.
Great for mind, body and soul, for all.
